Autumn Pyrenees Adventure
2nd September – 13th September
16th September – 27th September
We think that Autumn may be the best time to visit the Pyrenees for a Mudrut expedition; the intense heat of summer is giving away to more comfortable temperatures, and the snow has melted from the higher mountain passes, making the trip more accessible.
Our two Autumn trips to this remote part of the Pyrenees have been designed to appeal to those who want to explore the region at a quieter time of year, and relish every moment of this 10-day trip.
Our expedition route starts from Roscoff in France, and winds from Bossost through the spectacular V’dran into Andorra. Continuing south-west, we explore more of this mountainous, historical region, before we venture through Spain to catch the ferry from Santander. Catching the ferry back to Roscoff from here, gives us an opportunity to recount our expedition over a meal, where we can share photos and stories of our journey.
This fantastic circular trip enables you to explore the hidden delights that France and Spain has to offer. We recommend 1-3 people to your own vehicle, so you can share the driving with your partners. It is important that you use a 4x4 vehicle, but it doesn’t have to be a Land Rover Defender. The nature of the terrain is suitable for any 4x4 vehicles and drivers of all ability. The route in this remote part of Europe can be challenging, but our experienced guides are there to help you. Mudrut’s regular research and recces to this part of Europe in all seasons, guarantee a fantastic Pyrenees Adventure. So come with us, to enjoy all this beautiful landscape has to offer.
